Terms of Service

    Last updated 4 September 2026

    These terms govern your use of InnBoss. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

    1. What InnBoss is

    InnBoss is an operations and discovery platform for Caribbean tourism and local businesses. It lets a business publish a profile, take bookings and orders, appear on partner sites and in AI-assisted trip planning, and run day-to-day operations.

    We are not a party to what you buy.

    A booking is an agreement between the guest and the business. A ride is between the guest and the transport operator. We provide the platform on which those arrangements are made.

    2. Accounts

    You must be 18 or over and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. You must have authority to represent any business you claim.

    3. What it costs a business

    Listing is free, and so is taking bookings. There is no subscription for a profile, a menu, availability or online booking.

    • A fee applies only to a booking InnBoss sends you, and only once the guest actually checks in — never at the moment the booking is made.
    • Cancelled, expired and no-show bookings are reversed. You are not charged for them, and where the month has been invoiced the reversal appears as a credit.
    • The fee is a flat amount. We never take a percentage of your bill.
    • Walk-ins, telephone bookings and bookings you take yourself are always free.
    • Each industry has a free allowance, and most have a monthly ceiling on total fees.
    • Invoices are raised monthly in Barbados dollars, payable by card, bank transfer, BiMPay or cash.
    • Sample, unclaimed and test listings are never billed.
    • Bookings arriving through an OTA or a reseller keep whatever terms already apply to them.

    Optional extras

    • Operations add-ons — dine-in, ticketing, micro-store and register, standalone site, multi-location — are billed separately, start with a free trial, and can be cancelled at any time. Prices are set in Barbados dollars and Barbados VAT of 17.5% is added.
    • When an add-on trial or subscription ends, only the staff tools lock. Your profile, menu, availability and bookings keep working.
    • The Verified badge is optional and priced separately. Your listing is bookable without it.
    • Reseller and project-team arrangements are priced per partnership by agreement.

    4. Payments, and who holds the money

    InnBoss does not hold or route your money.

    Where you accept card payment, it is taken by your own payment provider under your own merchant agreement and settled to your own bank account. We are not the merchant of record and never take custody of funds passing between a guest and a business.

    As the business, you are responsible for:

    • your agreement with your payment provider, and its fees;
    • refunds, disputes and chargebacks on payments you take;
    • your own taxes, including VAT where it applies to what you sell; and
    • honouring the price you published.

    Where a booking is made through a third-party travel provider, that provider may be the merchant of record and their terms will apply to that transaction.

    5. Transport and rides

    • InnBoss does not provide transport. Rides are supplied by registered transport operators and their drivers.
    • Drivers are engaged by their operator, not by InnBoss. We are not their employer.
    • Fares shown before a request are estimates based on the operator’s rates and the route given. The final fare may differ if the journey changes.
    • Guests pay the driver or the operator directly, in cash or by the operator’s own arrangement.
    • Where a ride involves a reseller, the revenue split is recorded in the platform ledger for the parties’ own settlement. The ledger is a record, not a payment service — we do not move money between them.
    • Operators are responsible for their licensing, insurance, vehicle condition and drivers’ fitness to drive.

    6. Your content

    You keep ownership of what you publish. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, resize and distribute it for the purpose of running the platform — including on partner hub sites, in trip plans and through our AI assistants — for as long as you keep it published.

    You confirm you have the right to publish it, including any photographs. Do not upload images you do not own or have permission to use.

    7. Acceptable use

    You must not:

    • publish false, misleading or unlawful content, or prices you do not intend to honour;
    • accept bookings you have no intention or ability to fulfil;
    • impersonate another business, or claim a listing you have no authority over;
    • attempt to avoid platform fees by diverting a booking we sent you after it has been made;
    • interfere with the platform’s operation or security, or scrape it at scale; or
    • use another business’s or guest’s information for any purpose other than fulfilling their booking.

    8. Availability

    We work to keep InnBoss running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of a change that materially affects a paid add-on you rely on.

    9. Suspension and ending your account

    You may close your account at any time; fees already properly incurred remain payable. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where required by law. Where it is practical and lawful to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

    10. Liability

    Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

    Subject to that, InnBoss is not liable for the acts or omissions of a business, an operator, a driver or a guest; for indirect or consequential loss; or for lost profits or goodwill. Our total liability to a business in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount that business paid us in fees during that period.

    11. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. For a material change we will notify account holders in advance, and continuing to use the platform afterwards means you accept the change.

    12. Law and jurisdiction

    These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados, and the courts of Barbados have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
